Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of an OT, supporting functional goals and independence in activities of daily living.
- Assess resident function, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals.
- Conduct ongoing measurements, re-assessments, and modify interventions as needed; document progress in the Rehab Optima (NetHealth) system.
- Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, activity modification, and safety strategies to maximize independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including nursing and therapy staff, to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
- Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance in all therapy activities.
Requirements
- Active California license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
- Knowledge of Rehab Optima (NetHealth) computer system
- Availability for a day shift with guaranteed 38 hours per week
- Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/14/2026
