Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse (ER) travel assignment in Gardner, Massachusetts. Start date 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $1,946 and $1,978 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This position is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital ED setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ED nursing care: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions and patient goals per standards of care, protocols, and policies; document and communicate patient status to the team.
- Triage and initial assessment on arrival; administer medications and IV therapy per physician orders; monitor response and escalate as needed.
- Manage airway and critical care needs for patients, including suctioning, ventilation support as indicated, and interpretation of ABGs and oxygenation status.
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and connect with resources to support ongoing care and safety after the ED visit.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance: identify risk to patient safety, report incidents, manage violence when present, and document care accurately; delegate tasks appropriately and supervise others as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- ACLS required on hire OR BLS with ACLS obtained within 60 days of hire; PALS within six months; TNCC, ENPC and CEN preferred
- ED nursing experience 3–5 years preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ED setting and to rotate to night shifts as scheduled
