Responsibilities
- Perform Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and assist with active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of designated heart and vascular structures, following physician orders and procedures.
- Position and immobilize patients for examinations; provide clear patient instructions and ensure safety and comfort.
- Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures, including maintaining sterile technique and equipment readiness.
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills; participate in ongoing quality assurance and provide input on staff development and performance.
- Maintain careful documentation, up-to-date patient records, and EPIC system entries as part of the clinical workflow.

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the radiology field; three years preferred; experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification preferred; Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of practice required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required; Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
- Other: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS from an approved vendor per policy; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) required; PVMB/TEAM/CPI (or equivalent) required.
- EPIC experience required; must have recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
- Additional: At least two years of recent field experience; current nursing license per the state of assignment and ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting.
