Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency (ER) travel assignment in Lincoln, Maine. Start date 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,002–$2,062 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: acute-care hospital ER. Staffing under Healthforce Healthcare LLC for a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments in the ER and monitor patient status
- Develop and implement care plans based on assessments and physician orders; administer medications using the five rights and evaluate responses
- Communicate updates and care plans with the health care team; document in accordance with policies and procedures
- Facilitate discharge planning and provide patient/family education to support understanding and follow-up
- Maintain patient safety and a clean, organized environment; participate in disaster preparedness activities and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate in bedside rounds and MDT meetings with hospitalists and case managers as needed
Requirements
- Active Maine RN license or a valid compact-state license
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
- Immunization requirements: Varicella 2 doses or titer; HepB 3 doses or titer or declination (declination allowed only for HepB); MMR 2 doses or titer; Tdap; PPD 2-step or titer within past 12 months; Flu shot required during flu season
- BSN preferred
- ER nursing experience preferred; strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced ER environment
- Onboarding readiness: traveler will report to HR on day 1; onboarding may require W-9 and COI for workers’ compensation and professional liability
