Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate OR cases across multiple specialties, excluding CVOR, including general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, laparoscopy, trauma, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in EPIC usage; EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
- Provide intraoperative support, ensuring sterile technique, instrument handling, and patient safety throughout cases.
- Participate in on-call duties: one weekday call per week and one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block.
- Circulate and scrub with the ability to handle a wide range of procedures; adaptable to unit needs and patient care priorities.
- Be flexible with schedule to meet the unit’s and patients’ needs; assist with off-shift options when applicable.

Requirements
- Active RN license (state requirements as applicable); prior travel experience required.
- Minimum 2 years OR RN experience at a large facility; trauma level 1 experience at a 500+ bed site preferred.
- BLS certification; EPIC experience from within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable).
- Must circulate and scrub; circulator and scrub skills checklists must be included in the candidate packet.
- Ability to scrub all general OR cases, including GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap, trauma, thoracic, and vascular; CVOR not required.
- Prior travel experience and flexibility with rotating day/evening shifts; must be able to participate in the outlined call schedule.
- Willingness to provide reliable transportation; note that public transit may be limited in the area.
