Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor for clinical changes and respond with appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, lines, and critical equipment per policy; ensure equipment safety and infection control.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately; maintain clear communication with the care team.
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in California
- ICU nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights in a 12-hour shift pattern
- Travel availability for a temporary 13-week assignment
- Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
