Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Promote safety and mobility; assist with transfers and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition
- Support meals and nutrition; assist with feeding and documenting intake
- Observe residents for changes and communicate findings to licensed staff; uphold infection control and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain professional boundaries
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in New Mexico
- Availability to work the 12-hour day shift on a 3x12 schedule (06:30–18:30)
- Prior CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Ability to meet facility infection control and safety standards
- Local candidates only
