Location: Salida, Colorado
Travel assignment starting 07/05/2026 for 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $1,927 – $2,057 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Setting: rural, critical access care environment

Responsibilities
- Perform and collect diagnostic information, including pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, noninvasive and invasive diagnostic procedures, and blood gas analysis.
- Assess patients with physical examinations and interpret diagnostic data to guide care.
- Apply respiratory therapeutics: medical gas therapy, humidity, aerosol therapy, artificial airway insertion and care, airway clearance, and invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust plans in a timely manner.
- Participate in discharge planning and case management; contribute to public education on cardiopulmonary wellness.
- Attend mandatory safety in-services and department meetings as directed by the manager.
Requirements
- Current Colorado license as a Respiratory Therapist (active)
- Certification or registry from college or technical school; CRT or RRT eligible
- Two years of relevant respiratory care experience
- Education: certification/registry from an approved program in Respiratory Therapy
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Ability to work the stated night-shift schedule in a rural, critical-access setting
