Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy ED, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and ongoing reassessment of patients with diverse emergencies.
- Administer medications, initiate appropriate interventions, perform procedures within scope, and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans; communicate with patients and families to explain care, expectations, and treatment plans.
- Document care clearly and accurately in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to evidence-based practice.
- Prioritize patient advocacy, quality, and patient and family education; participate in handoffs and shift-to-shift communication; contribute to ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
- Uphold the nursing standards outlined by applicable professional practice acts and ethics codes; maintain competencies and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Experience in emergency department or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12)
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Capacity to work in a high-acuity ED environment and adhere to standard nursing practice and patient safety protocols
