Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room during surgical cases; scrubbing is not required.
- Support the surgical team with instrument handling, tissue management, and patient positioning as needed.
- Assist with DaVinci, Vascular, and Urology procedures in the circulating role; monitor patient status throughout cases.
- Maintain sterile technique and OR safety protocols; document intraoperative events and counts per policy.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff; participate in post-case handoffs.
Requirements
- OR circulating experience; ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Demonstrated experience with DaVinci, Vascular, and Urology cases
- Availability for an 11-week travel assignment starting 07/13/2026
- Willingness to work 6:45 am start times; 4x10-hour days (days) with the potential accommodation for alternative scheduling if necessary
- Able to adhere to OR standards and hospital policies; good teamwork and communication skills
