Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiologic exams, including X-ray and CT imaging, for patients of all ages.
- Apply principles, theories and techniques of radiologic technology to produce reliable test results.
- Ensure patient safety, provide patient care, and follow radiation safety practices.
- Manage daily patient and department workflow, ensuring timely and accurate image acquisition and communication of results.
- Label, store, and transmit images correctly; participate in quality control and equipment safety checks.
- Be willing to float between CT and X-ray modalities as needed and collaborate with the radiology team to cover coverage requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography; minimum 2 years of X-ray experience required.
- Willingness to float between CT and X-ray modalities.
- Oregon state radiologic technology license; active status not required at submission but must apply upon offer.
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) required; willingness to obtain any additional required ARRT certifications for modality coverage.
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department and adapt to a rotating shift schedule.
