Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.

- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in plan development and care delivery.
- Implement and evaluate care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to promote continuity and safety.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team in a safe, healing environment.
Requirements
- Licenses: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (California required)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field, with ICU exposure preferred
- Education: BSN preferred
- Special requirements: Epic electronic medical record experience strongly preferred; ability to work in an ICU setting on a travel assignment
