Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, following the established plan of care.
- Assist with patient evaluations, establish and implement treatment plans, and document patient progress according to facility policies.
- Prepare and position patients for therapy, set up and use therapeutic equipment, and ensure safe transfer and mobility practices.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, communicate changes to the supervising PT, and assist with goals updates.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient care, safety, and discharge planning to support optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Availability to start on 06/01/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment
- Ability to work the listed shift (08:00–16:30) and meet guaranteed hours
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Willingness to work in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Prior experience in physical therapy assistance and familiarity with PT plans of care (as applicable to the role)
