Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Corrections, Philadelphia, PA, United States. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting March 23, 2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to individuals in a jail-based setting, including assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer prescribed medications, document administration, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Assist with wound care and routine procedures within LPN scope of practice.
- Monitor vital signs, detect changes in condition, and escalate to the appropriate clinician as needed.
- Document assessments, care plans, and interventions in the medical record; maintain confidentiality and compliance with security policies.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work in a secure, jail-based environment and comply with security policies
- Availability to work 3x12-hour shifts with weekend rotation, including every-other-weekend requirement
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required for security clearance
