Registered Nurse, Adolescent Behavioral Health Inpatient | Lewiston, Maine, United States. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,021–$2,093 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: inpatient adolescent behavioral health unit within a hospital-level environment. This is a travel - temporary assignment. Maine residents must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to children and adolescents ages 6–18 on an inpatient behavioral health unit
- Administer prescribed medications, educate patients and families, and document care accurately
- Monitor and manage behaviors, respond to crises, and follow safety protocols for a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric population
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient-centered care, including leading education groups
- Participate in and, as needed, lead patient and family education sessions; support unit-wide care activities
- Be willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox as needed to meet unit needs
Requirements
- Active Maine RN license
- BLS certification; CPI training preferred
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 1–3 years nursing experience; 1 year minimum; adults experience preferred
- CPI trained; demonstrated ability to manage stress and maintain professional boundaries
- Willingness to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox; strong communication with patients, families and the care team
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
- Maine residency outside a 50-mile radius of Lewiston is required
