Registered Nurse – Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health, Lewiston, ME. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,041–$2,143 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Work setting: inpatient behavioral health unit within a hospital, caring for children and adolescents on a dedicated unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care to children and adolescents aged 6–18 on an inpatient behavioral health unit
- Administer prescribed medications and provide patient and family education
- Document daily patient care activities and monitor/interpret patient behavior, safety, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; lead and participate in patient education groups
- Navigate and manage challenging behaviors, maintaining professional boundaries and de-escalation strategies
- May be required to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox as needed to support unit coverage
Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Licensure: Valid State of Maine RN license required
- Certifications: BLS certification required; CPI trained
- Experience: 1 year minimum nursing experience required; 1–3 years preferred; experience with adults is noted as favorable
- Additional: No disqualifying hits on background or licensure checks; travelers with hits will not be considered
- Ability to work in the inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting and to float as needed
- Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment site
