Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs and health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and document delivery accurately according to policy.
- Assess residents, report changes, and participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Maintain precise and compliant charting, medication records, and incident reporting.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy standards.
Requirements
- Active LPN license to practice in New Mexico.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
- 1+ year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and meet facility requirements for this assignment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on resident-centered care.
