Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (CCU) travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,079–$2,266, with 0 guaranteed hours. Night shift, 36 hours per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a hospital-based CCU environment. Unit is a 20-bed CCU with a 1:2 patient ratio.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to CCU patients, including monitoring ventilation, ICP and hemodynamic status, and administering medications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Float to PCU as needed and maintain flexibility to support unit needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (Meditech Expanse) and ensure equipment readiness.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient/family education standards.
Requirements
- Licenses: Massachusetts RN license; Mass Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required to staff for temporary needs and must be uploaded with the traveler profile.
- Certifications: Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years current Critical Care experience.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Skills/Experience: Ventilation management, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring; Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred; willingness to float to PCU as needed.
- Additional: Own vehicle required; RTO requests must be included at submission and will not be approved after offer; profile must include Supervisory Signed Reference within the past two years; Massachusetts-specific licensing and documentation must be uploaded.
