Radiology Technologist Assistant (Interventional Radiology) | Watertown, NY | Start 06/29/2026 | Duration 14 weeks | 40 hours/week guaranteed | Shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday | Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. This is a real, full-time travel opportunity for a radiology professional supporting interventional radiology procedures, with supervision by a physician and a focus on age-appropriate patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within scope of practice under physician supervision, supporting interventional radiology services.
- Conduct patient assessments using age-appropriate considerations and coordinate with the care team to manage procedures and recovery.
- Assist the supervising radiologist with radiologic procedures and patient management, ensuring procedural readiness and patient safety.
- Maintain patient flow and organize clinical workload; prepare procedure rooms and manage equipment and supplies.
- Document procedures accurately, including notes, imaging findings, and patient outcomes; educate patients and obtain informed consent when required; provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, radiation protection standards, infection control guidelines, and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; graduate of an approved program; applicable licensure or eligibility per state requirements as applicable to the role.
- Certifications: Current ARRT certification in Radiography; additional certifications in CT, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology (e.g., RA or PA with radiology focus) are highly desirable.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience: Interventional radiology or procedurally focused imaging experience preferred; capable of supporting fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Ability to work in a hospital-based setting and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists.
