Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatrics across acute inpatient, outpatient, and SNF settings
- Implement PT interventions including orthopedic/ post-operative rehab, gait training, transfers, wound care, lymphedema management, and pelvic floor therapy as applicable
- Promote patient and family education, establish and monitor home exercise programs, and support discharge planning and referrals
- Collaborate with the therapy team and other disciplines; document assessments and treatments in the charting system (Epic)
- Participate in weekend coverage as required and adapt to patient care needs across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings

Requirements
- Active Alaska PT license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; pediatrics/adolescents experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital-adjacent setting with acute care, outpatient, and SNF populations; willingness to float as needed
- Willingness to work weekends; block scheduling available
- Two professional references (covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years) required during compliance
- Vaccination: Hep B required (titer or declination not accepted); COVID-19 not required
- Epic experience (charting system) required
- Locational requirement: candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility
