Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver ICU patient care for applicable age groups, ensuring safety and quality aligned with unit standards.
- Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, administer medications, and perform ICU interventions as required.
- Develop and update individualized care plans; adapt practices to evolving systems and patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, evidence-based care and effective communication with patients and families.
- Document care accurately, maintain compliance with policies, and contribute to a respectful, patient- and family-centered environment.
- Support unit mission and adapt to changes in workflows or staffing while maintaining high-quality clinical practice.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license (as required for practice in nursing roles).
- ICU or critical care experience preferred in a high-acuity setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment and manage complex patient needs.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-family education skills.
- Flexibility to participate in varied, rotating shifts and assignments.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality of care, and adherence to unit standards.
