Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) Travel Assignment in Plymouth, MA. Start date 06/29/2026 for an 8-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,366 to $2,579. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Work in a hospital setting with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to ER patients, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and documentation in EPIC EMR.
- Perform triage, obtain patient histories, document vitals, and manage IV lines and medication administration per physician orders.
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor for adverse effects, and support rapid interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with the ED team (physicians, technicians, and support staff) to stabilize patients and coordinate care transitions.
- Prepare patients for imaging or procedures, assist with procedures as assigned, and ensure accurate handoffs to receiving teams.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, including chart accuracy, discharge planning, and appropriate utilization of resources.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license; must have MA license at time of submission or a valid temporary license
- 2+ years ER nursing experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) required; ACLS required; PALS or ENPC required; TNCC preferred; MAB preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the listed location; non-local travelers only
- Onboarding tests (dysrhythmia and medication) must be completed with an 85% passing score on a single attempt
