Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Viroqua, Wisconsin. This is a travel, temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. Start date April 9, 2026, for a 13-week contract with an evening shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,666 to $1,745. There is a 40-hour guaranteed week, and the schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor residents’ conditions, respond to changes, and document assessments and interventions
- Perform routine head-to-toe assessments, measure vital signs, and report abnormalities to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and supporting resident mobility and safety
- Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation, demonstrate infection control practices, and contribute to a safe care environment
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Wisconsin (in good standing)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work evenings and adapt to a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Must meet facility compliance requirements and pass standard screening processes
