CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Travel Assignment in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,814–$2,997 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x10 rotating. This assignment is in a hospital setting. The CT Tech will perform computed tomography imaging and related duties, following radiologist protocols and hospital standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized CT scans per radiologist protocols, ensuring accurate image acquisition.
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba units) and post-process with Vitrea workstation; assess image quality and adjust techniques as needed.
- Position patients and provide patient care, including venipuncture when required.
- Generate MIP, MPR, and 3D reconstructions; assist with procedures such as biopsies or drainages as directed.
- Manage contrast administration and monitor for adverse reactions; maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Document procedures in the Meditech EMR; work with radiologists and clinicians to support timely diagnoses.
- Maintain independent workflow, handle call-ins per facility need, and ensure patient safety and data integrity.
Requirements
- Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (active) and current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography; Hawaii license must be active by start of assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Proficient in scanning per radiologist protocols and performing routine CT examinations; able to work independently without supervision.
- Experience with Meditech EMR; familiarity with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred.
- Venipuncture experience and ability to assist with procedures such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging; knowledge of vascular, cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health clearance.
