CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,624–$2,754 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Work setting is an acute care hospital environment with multiple GE CT scanners and a workflow that supports Level 1 trauma, stroke, and burn care. Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography examinations for trauma, stroke, burn, and inpatient cases across assigned units.
- Operate multiple GE CT scanners, including both older platform units and Revolution platform systems, across ECC and inpatient/neuro floors.
- Position patients, select appropriate scanning protocols, adjust technique for optimal image quality, and minimize radiation exposure.
- Administer and manage contrast media as clinically indicated, monitor for adverse reactions, and coordinate with radiologists on findings.
- Acquire, process, and archive CT images; verify accuracy in the EPIC electronic medical record system; communicate results promptly to the care team.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and patient identification procedures in a high-volume, Level 1 trauma environment.
Requirements
- CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification preferred.
- Ability to work the listed schedule (Wed/Thu/Fri, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency with EPIC or willingness to learn and document imaging studies accurately.
- Willingness to work across multiple CT scanners and care areas, including trauma, neuro, and inpatient services.
