Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Emergency Room RN — Nights, ER specialty in Saint Louis, Missouri. This travel assignment begins 05/04/2026 for a duration measured in weeks. Work 36 hours per week across 3 x 12-hour Night shifts in an acute-care ER unit. Weekly pay ranges from $1,955 to $2,010 with no guaranteed hours. Travel assignment; locals within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this posting.

Responsibilities
- Triage and initial assessment of all presenting patients; prioritize care based on acuity
- Airway management, ventilation support, and interpretation of dysrhythmias; administer IV therapy and vasopressors as ordered
- Lead/assist in trauma and critical care scenarios; participate in procedural sedation and rapid response efforts as needed
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services, Unit Secretary)
- Manage patient flow in the ER, including triage to appropriate areas and coordination of discharges or admissions
- Document care and outcomes in the EPIC charting system; ensure accurate data entry and compliance with policies
- Support patients and families through education, crisis management, and coordination of post-ER care
Requirements
- Licensure: RN license in good standing; pending license accepted per compliance notes; verify state-specific rules prior to submittal
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience; travel experience required; first-timers not accepted
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIHSS, PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred
- Charting: EPIC experience required
- Skills: Strong airway management, dysrhythmia recognition, IV/vasopressor management; trauma/critical care skills; able to float within ER scope as needed
- Scheduling: Must be able to work 3rd-weekend shifts; on-call not required
- Environment: Comfortable working in a high-volume ER serving neonatal to geriatric patients, with dedicated psych and pediatrics areas as applicable
