Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Lowville, New York. Start date: May 18, 2026. Contract: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,119–$2,301 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This travel assignment takes place in a hospital setting, focused on maternity care and obstetric support.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal status, and labor progression; respond to changes per policy
- Administer medications and assist with procedures within scope of RN practice
- Support newborn care immediately after birth and provide parent education
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure clear handoffs to the next care team
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
- Experience in labor and delivery or maternity care preferred (1+ year recommended)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work a 3x12 night schedule and participate in weekend rotation
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
