Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,757–$1,849. Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (three 12-hour shifts per week). Work setting involves a hospital environment with dedicated LTC units, including 3 East (31-bed Alzheimer’s/dementia unit), 2nd-floor Transitional Rehabilitation (42-bed short-term rehab), and 3 West (42-bed long-term care). This assignment requires a Maine state or compact RN license and an ADN degree, with 1–3 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents across LTC units, including dementia care, rehabilitation, and long-term care needs
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform IV therapy and wound care as ordered, and participate in geriatric assessments
- Implement and update individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Apply effective verbal and nonverbal communication with residents who have Alzheimer’s/dementia, addressing behaviors as meaningful expressions
- Monitor safety and infection control, document care accurately, and respond to changes in condition in a timely manner
- Maintain flexibility to float to other units as needed and contribute to a collaborative, resident-centered care environment

Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Maine or a compact license
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience: 1–3 years of RN experience
- No licensure hits on record; candidates with licensure issues will not be considered
- Ability to work a 24/7 flexible schedule and to float to other units as needed
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment location
- Strong teamwork, communication, and medical terminology knowledge
