Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay range: $1,604–$1,691 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
- Contract duration: Weeks
- Shift: Eve/night
- Location: Carlisle, PA; Long-Term Care travel assignment
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocol.
- Monitor and document resident vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition; report to supervising RN.
- Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and fall prevention.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine treatments as assigned.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement individualized care and ongoing assessments.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
- LPN diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification preferred or as per facility policy.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and night shifts.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment.
