Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for radiology patients during imaging and interventional procedures
- Prepare and recover patients for IR, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; document vitals and relevant clinical data
- Administer medications and contrast agents as ordered; manage adverse reactions per protocol
- Maintain infection control and sterile technique; ensure patient safety and privacy
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality patient care; communicate changes in patient condition promptly
- Complete accurate and thorough charting of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Manage calls and access needs as part of the on-call rotation

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology nursing or a closely related specialty
- Required certifications: AHA BLS; ACLS
- Preferred but not required: PALS
- Proficiency in nursing prep and recovery for IR, CT, US, MRI, NM, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts in a hospital radiology setting; schedule includes Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday
- Ability to participate in on-call shifts (2–3 per month)
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging department and document care accurately
- Note: No local candidates within 50 miles
