Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care to assigned Med Surg patients per shift based on care plans.
- Assess patient conditions, implement care, and document progress; adjust plans as needed.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to on-unit staff to ensure safe, effective care.
- Support facility leadership to maintain high-quality nursing care, competency of staff, and appropriate resource use.
Requirements
- Active RN license (or eligibility) to practice in the United States
- Ability to provide direct patient care in a Med Surg setting
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience supervising clinical staff and delegating tasks
- Availability for a 3x12-hour night shift and travel as assigned
