Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Bangor, ME
Start date 07/20/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Weekly pay: $2,177–$2,289 per week • Guaranteed hours: 36 • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) • Travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult med-surg patients under the supervision of the Unit Director, following Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
- Monitor telemetry as indicated; assess, document, and respond to changes in patient condition; escalate as needed
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders; ensure patient safety, infection control, and accuracy in documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team; participate in care planning, rounds, and patient/family education
- Support discharge planning and patient education; maintain clear documentation in the electronic health record
Requirements
- Current Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hospital setting
