Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze relevant data to inform diagnosis and care planning.
- Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor patient responses and report changes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon) or as required by the state of assignment.
- Minimum two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS certification required.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care telemetry setting; valid for the listed shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM).
