Occupational Therapist needed for a travel temporary assignment in Brooklyn, MD. Specialty: Occupational Therapist. Start date 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,883 - $1,932 per week. Guaranteed hours 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult residents and develop individualized treatment plans targeting ADLs, mobility, cognition, and safety.
- Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life, adjusting plans based on progress and re-evaluations.
- Document sessions, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in the resident’s medical records; communicate progress to the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate residents, families, and care staff on therapies, home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and safety strategies for daily activities.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy colleagues to ensure coordinated care and adherence to regulatory and facility policies.
- Monitor and adjust goals to align with resident progress, payer requirements, and expected outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland or eligible for Maryland licensure
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience in adult rehabilitation or SNF settings preferred but not required
- Availability to begin on 05/25/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment, averaging 35 hours per week
