Key responsibilities for a Mammo Tech include performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precise patient positioning and optimal compression, operating digital mammography systems and software, and ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. You’ll conduct routine quality control checks, maintain accurate documentation, manage image labeling, and uphold patient safety and comfort throughout the exam. Collaboration with radiologists and breast imaging teams will drive timely, accurate results, while adherence to infection control and safety standards maintains the highest professional standards. As you grow, there are ample opportunities to deepen expertise in 3D tomosynthesis, coordinate referrals, and pursue cross-training in adjunct breast imaging modalities. Competitive compensation includes a weekly pay range of $2,486 to $2,537, with a bonus program, housing assistance, and potential for contract extensions.
