Travel Registered Nurse Hospice Job
Registered Nurse - Hospice (Travel) is needed for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Responsibilities
- Provide 4–5 hospice visits per day in outpatient facilities and patient homes
- Travel to patient locations, typically 30–50 miles daily; maintain mileage logs
- Assess symptoms, implement plans of care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications and comfort measures; respond to symptom changes
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and care planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate care updates promptly
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
- BLS certification
- Hospice or end-of-life care experience; able to conduct 4–5 visits per day in outpatient/home settings
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the work location; local candidates will not be eligible
- Ability to travel between multiple patient locations; reliable transportation required
- Education: RN licensure in good standing in Massachusetts
