Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, following the plan of care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice and facility policy.
- Monitor resident status, vital signs, and responses to interventions; document observations accurately.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and meal support as needed.
- Maintain infection control standards, safety practices, and precise charting; report changes promptly to the care team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care and timely communication of resident needs.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico.
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and meet any state regulatory requirements.
