Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for inpatients to determine functional deficits and goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living and mobility
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities, exercise programs, and adaptive equipment training
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge plans, and caregiver education
- Reassess patient progress, modify goals and interventions as needed, and document outcomes in the medical record
- Participate in care transitions and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
Requirements
- Inpatient occupational therapy experience
- Ability to work in an inpatient care setting
- Experience collaborating within an interprofessional team
- Strong documentation and patient progress reporting skills
