Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adolescent inpatients with behavioral health needs, following the plan of care and unit protocols.
- Administer medications and monitor responses; document in the electronic health record; monitor vital signs and safety.
- Conduct regular patient assessments; update care plans; respond to crises and participate in de-escalation as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatry, psychology, social work, therapy, and nursing) to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu; enforce unit procedures, therapeutic boundaries, and patient rights; participate in rounds and handoffs.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation; comply with regulatory and hospital standards; provide patient and family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active NH license or Compact state RN license required at time of submission; NH or Compact license must be verified (NURSYS preferred).
- Certifications: BLS and CPI or MOAB current at submission.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in adolescent behavioral health inpatient specialty; travel experience documented on resume.
- Documentation: Up-to-date resume; 2 recent charge/manager RN references; skills checklist matching specialty.
- Additional: Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics; RTO (time off) request must be included at submission.
- EMR: Cerner experience preferred but not required.
