Responsibilities
- Provide scrub and circulator support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining a sterile field.
- Perform left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, stent placement, and device implants/closures as clinically appropriate.
- Assist with IABP placement/removal and rotablator atherectomy as indicated; ensure accurate device handling and patient monitoring.
- Ensure accurate documentation and charting within EPIC; monitor patient status during procedures and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias as needed.
- Collaborate with interventional team, navigate equipment and sterile technique, and float to related labs per operational needs.
Requirements
- New York state license required in hand to submit
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience (diagnostic and interventional)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), CCI RCIS
- On-call availability and ability to work 4×10-hour shifts; capable of scrub and circulating duties; able to float per unit needs
