Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel assignment in Rochester, NY, starting 05/18/2026 for approximately 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,930 to $2,054, 3x12 night shifts, and no guaranteed hours. This clinical respiratory role rotates between acute care and LTAC settings, covering adult patients with cardiopulmonary diagnoses in adult critical care and emergency department environments. Epic charting experience is required to submit for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator support, including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, weaning, and high‑pressure alarm troubleshooting
- Perform airway and tracheostomy care, including intubation assistance, extubation, suctioning, and airway placement assessment
- Conduct ABG sampling, pulmonary hygiene, bag‑mask ventilation, and sputum collection
- Assess patient status and participate in multidisciplinary rounds; document care in Epic
- Provide care for adults with CHF, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and related infections
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment (e.g., Hamilton & Servo-U ventilators, NIV devices, AIRVO2, V30 series, Dream machines) and support related therapies
Requirements
- NY license: active license in hand required to submit
- Certifications: RRT and BLS
- Experience: minimum 1 year of clinical experience; prior charge experience preferred
- Charting: Epic experience required (hard requirement for submission)
- Special experience preferred: LTAC, community hospital, and Trauma I/II settings
- Procedural scope: ABG sampling, ventilator management, nebulizers, airway and suctioning, patient assessment
- Ability to float between Adult Critical Care and ED units and to cover alternating units as needed
- Required to work 3x12 night shifts; weekend coverage every other week; call at night if possible (one night every other week)
- RTO: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of Return to Office
- Locality restrictions: candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius; no local within 50 miles
