Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including medication administration and routine treatments.
- Monitor resident status, document care provided, and report changes in condition to supervising licensed staff.
- Perform and assist with basic nursing procedures as directed, including vital signs, wound care, and ADL assistance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure coordinated resident care.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, facility policies, and infection control protocols.
- Communicate with residents and families in a respectful, professional manner and support patient education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current active LPN license in Vermont (or eligibility to practice in Vermont)
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- 1+ year of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting (preferred for travel assignments)
- Ability to work day and evening shifts as required
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass standard background checks and screenings as part of the assignment
