Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students in a school setting, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice needs as appropriate for age and grade level.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals; document progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly; maintain required records.
- Conduct screenings and participate in IEP team meetings; collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support communication goals.
- Provide therapy in individual and small-group formats using evidence-based practices; collect and report session data and outcomes as required.
- Ensure services are delivered in compliance with school and district policies; no Medicaid billing or case management duties are required.
Requirements
- Active Oregon state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with elementary-level caseloads in a school setting (preferred)
- Availability for a daytime, school-based schedule during the 42-week contract
- Ability to work on-site in Pendleton, Oregon for the duration of the assignment
