Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of complex equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies as directed.
- Deliver clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab environment.
- Proficiency in operating radiographic and interventional imaging equipment and processing digital images.
- Strong patient positioning and instructional skills.
- Flexibility to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule on a travel assignment.
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and commitment to safety and quality patient care.
