Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the cardiac PCU/IMCU, including STEMI/NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain presentations
- Monitor patients on telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, and promptly respond to rhythm changes or decompensation
- Administer cardiac medications and drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per protocol and physician orders
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans, escalate issues, and ensure patient safety
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Documented PCU experience with a minimum of 2 years in a facility of similar size
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to work night shift on a 2x3 schedule and manage a high-acuity cardiac patient population
- Comfortable working in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Able to work with telemetry beds in the same unit as needed
- Onboarding requirements include providing demographic information and a badge-ready photo
