Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for neuro and orthopedic surgical cases, including spine and robotics-enabled procedures
- Prepare the OR, assist the surgical team, and maintain strict sterile technique and patient safety throughout the operative process
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after anesthesia; respond to intraoperative changes with appropriate interventions
- Document perioperative care and outcomes in the Cerner electronic medical record; ensure accurate and timely charting
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub/tech staff; manage equipment and supplies to support efficient case flow
- Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies; support call coverage and on-call requirements as assigned

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, with demonstrated expertise in neuro and orthopedic procedures; robotics experience is a plus
- Cerner EMR experience or proven ability to learn quickly
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Availability for travel with non-local status; note: no local candidates within 50 miles of submitting
- Call coverage required as part of the assignment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume perioperative environment and adapt to rotating schedules
