Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in Shillington, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents within the LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor resident conditions, document vitals, and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support mobility and safety
- Perform routine nursing procedures (wound care, specimen collection, basic treatments) as trained
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update and implement resident care plans
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and privacy standards
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
- 1+ year of practical nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work a daytime shift on a short-term travel assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to a new facility environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records
