Travel Radiology Cath Lab Tech Job
Cath Lab Technologist – Days, Travel Assignment in Vail, Colorado. Start date 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: 4x10 Days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. The role supports patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization/Special Procedures Lab, assisting physicians and operating specialized equipment. You will prepare rooms and equipment, guide patients, monitor conditions, and provide routine and emergency care during procedures. This assignment requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and may include on-call coverage.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab, assisting physicians and operating specialized equipment.
- Prepare the procedure room and equipment; instruct patients; monitor patient condition; provide routine and emergency care during procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team, and function with minimal supervision.
- Assist with the operation of advanced equipment (x-ray camera, procedure table controls, image processing, hemodynamic monitoring, ultrasound, power injector) and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement projects.
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond within 30 minutes when required; adhere to Just Culture principles and HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
- Licenses: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration required.
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience: Significant Cath Lab experience; 2 years preferred.
- Computer skills: Must possess, or obtain within 90 days, basic computer skills for job competencies and online learning requirements.
- Education: None required.
- Other: Ability to work in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting; on-call availability with rapid response within 30 minutes when required.
