Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as needed
- Ensure patient safety and comfort; adhere to radiation safety and ALARA principles; optimize image quality
- Position patients, set up protocol-specific imaging sequences, and review orders for accuracy
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to deliver timely, high-quality imaging results
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, image quality, and equipment function; report any equipment or patient concerns
Requirements
- Current Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility in the state of Oregon
- ARRT CT certification or eligibility preferred
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (associate degree or higher)
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- 1+ year CT imaging experience or equivalent clinical CT exposure
- Ability to work evenings in a hospital setting
