Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) opportunity in a 100-bed hospital in Berlin, VT. Start date 07/16/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment with a 3x12 Nights shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,955 to $2,035, with no guaranteed hours. This is a hospital-based travel assignment with EPIC and Pixis medication system usage expected, and requires neonatal/pediatric experience as part of a broader respiratory care role.

Responsibilities
- Provide adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care as part of the critical care and emergency service teams, including ventilator management and NIV support
- Manage mechanical ventilation using appropriate protocols and collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalist services
- Perform bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance techniques, and NIV treatments per unit protocols; use external transports for acute care patients as required
- Operate and monitor equipment such as Hamilton C3 and T1 ventilators, V60 NIV, Airvo 2, F&P heated HFNC, and Bubble CPAP; ensure safe initiation and weaning of ventilation
- Document patient care in the medical record (EPIC) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital scrubs standards
- Participate in NICU/PICU-related care when required, supporting neonatal and pediatric patients as part of RT responsibilities
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license with RRT credential; eligible to practice in Vermont and/or current state licensure as required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC verification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory experience; NICU/PICU/neonatal exposure strongly preferred
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years; familiarity with Pixis medication system
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, including external transports for adult critical care patients; strong documentation and teamwork skills
- Must be ready to start within the required timeframe and able to comply with unit-specific scheduling (every other weekend minimum, holidays as needed)
